A reputable Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its growing team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney with a strong background in family law to contribute to a client-focused practice in a professional and supportive environment.Duties
Manage an active caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support issues, and property division.Prepare and draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, briefs, and other essential legal documents.Conduct hearings, trials, and depositions as required.Develop and implement strategic approaches for cases through comprehensive legal research and analysis.Communicate with clients to establish trust and confidence, providing compassionate and attentive service.Draft and negotiate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.Stay updated on current developments in family law, with a particular focus on Los Angeles-related issues.Ensure all activities comply with court and jurisdictional regulations and deadlines.Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing family law.Proven ability to manage a family law caseload effectively and independently.Proficiency in drafting motions, discovery requests, and responses.Experience with trials, depositions, and courtroom procedures is highly advantageous.Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Adherence to professional standards, including confidentiality.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active membership and license to practice law in the state of California.Skills
In-depth knowledge of family law proceedings.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Exceptional client communication and relationship-building capabilities.The high degree of professionalism and integrity.Job Location
