Unit Notes:# of beds: 16Ratios: 1:2-3Required Certifications: PALS, BLSCommon diagnoses/Types of patients: Neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome, Hyperbilirubinemia, RSV, NICU graduates, post op appendectomy/tonsillectomy, Postpartum couplets, adult med/surg, behavioral health (1:1 sitters), VEEG/epileptic patientsExperience or 'Must have' skills: Pediatric experienceAre RNs required to titrate drips: NoCommon titratable &/or set rate drips: NoneCharge Nurse/House Supervisor: BothAre there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: NoPediatrician in house 24/7: ResidentsRT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): NC/HFNCIs there tele on this unit Monitor Techs RNs read strips: Yes, RNs watch the monitorsShifts & Scheduling: 3-12s per week 4 week schedulesWeekend Requirement: Can be every weekendHoliday Requirement: YesIs there a call or standby requirement: NoFloating Requirements: Can float to NICU to care for the same type of patient that would be on pedsScrub Color/Dress Code: Royal BlueAbout Summit Medical Staffing Nursing
