Draft and review franchise agreements, franchise disclosure documents, and associated regulatory filings.Advise clients on intricate business transactions in franchise and distribution matters.Counsel clients on compliance with U.S. franchising laws and regulatory requirements, covering both domestic and international aspects.Collaborate with a team of attorneys on various franchise-related litigation and transactional matters.Serve a diverse client base, including emerging franchisors, established franchise corporations, private equity firms, and international companies expanding into the U.S. market.Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in transactional franchise law.Extensive knowledge of U.S. franchise regulations, with preferred experience in international franchise or M&A.Admission to practice law in New Jersey, or eligibility for admission via waiver.Strong analytical, drafting, and writing skills.Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:
Exceptional organizational and drafting capabilities.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.Client-centered approach with a focus on strategic legal guidance.
