Recruitment Specialist

Full-timePosition Summary:Reporting to the
Recruitment Lead , this role is responsible for all recruitment functions including developing position descriptions, writing job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, organising interviews, drafting interview questions, conducting reference checks and credentialing, making verbal offers, and creating employment contracts. The recruitment consultants manage the shutdown labour pool as well as the manning of shutdowns, rosters, and other backfill requirements. The incumbent will also ensure successful onboarding of all employees including organising new starter packs and induction.Core Duties & Responsibilities:Full end-to-end recruitmentSignificant experience in shutdowns and blue-collar recruitmentSignificant experience in current market rates for blue-collar rolesEstablish and maintain shutdown labour poolHave an existing pool of candidatesIn-depth knowledge of the current market to make proactive decisions regarding skill shortagesFlexibility to adjust between changing prioritiesResearch and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruitingAssist in process improvement and systems enhancement initiativesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalOther HR duties as directed by the leadership teamRequired Qualification:Cert IV or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or management (Desirable)High attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks efficientlyStrong ability in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholdersGood understanding of and complete commitment to confidentialityAdvanced computer software skills, including Word, Excel, and other database applicationsBe available for site visits as requiredBe available and flexible to assist with weekend coverage in busy shutdown periodsRequired Experience:3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in mining or construction industryDemonstrated experience in a Human Resources administration or recruitment role with a sound knowledge of contemporary HR practicesDemonstrated experience in writing and creating job advertisements, uploading to websites and job boards, and conducting reference checksExperience with LinkedIn and Seek to execute talent searchesWhat will Karridale Group provide me with?Full-time contract with flexible start and finish timesA collaborative and positive team focused on meeting targets togetherFree car park and bus stop right at the doorReady for your next challenge?
