The
Director, Human Resources Business Partner
provides strategic Human Resources (HR) leadership and aligns with leaders in our Education Industry Group vertical to drive the talent agenda and build leadership strength in the team. This role leverages HR expertise/experience to help solve business problems; provides leadership support in the design, development, communication and delivery of HR people plans and initiatives intended to meet the needs of the business. This role builds relationships across the HR Centers of Excellence and influences change; directs and leads efforts to improve team member development, engagement, productivity, retention and measures effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be in Atlanta, Georgia.
Essential Functions
Work with the VP HRBP on delivering and executing upon the strategic initiatives of the industry group.
Drive the HR Talent agenda in collaboration with leaders ensuring the creation and development of succession planning strategies, career development programs, development needs assessment and action plans.
Serve as an internal coach and consultant to the leadership team.
Proactively analyze trends and metrics, seeking opportunities and strategies to improve trends in retention and key indicators of team member engagement to make informed decisions.
Partner and strategize with Learning & Talent Development to develop workforce plans that respond to current and future talent needs with a focus on diversity, inclusion and equity.
Actively participate in transformation efforts and act as a change champion.
Partner and strategize with Learning & Talent Development to ensure we are deploying key programs focused on core competency development.
Provides guidance and input on business restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver programs to meet organizational goals.
Proactively identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources including as a strategic HR Business Partner and working with a HR COE/shared services model.
A clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent, HR initiatives and business strategy.
Strong consultation, communication and influencing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment balancing multiple projects under tight timeframes and pressure.
Ability to effectively influence, and develop productive relationships throughout the organization.
Demonstrated intellectual agility, interpersonal flexibility and self-motivation.
Exposure to strong process and project management discipline.
Effective team player and networker.
