A law firm seeks a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Level IP Litigation Attorney to join its San Diego, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and a proven track record in all stages of intellectual property litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial. This role demands exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The attorney will play a key role in representing clients in complex IP disputes and must demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, business development, and client relations.Key Duties:Manage all phases of IP litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.Draft pleadings, motions, and appeals with precision and clarity.Conducted and responded to discovery, including managing discovery disputes and working closely with clients on discovery matters.Utilize e-discovery tools to manage document discovery efficiently.Depose witnesses and prepare detailed deposition outlines.Argue motions before the court, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.Handle arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings.Assist in trial preparation, including developing case strategies and preparing trial documents.Engage in appellate practice, including brief writing and oral arguments.Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes.Participate in business development activities, including networking and building client relationships.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in IP litigation,5+ years of experience.Demonstrated experience in all aspects of IP litigation, including drafting pleadings, handling discovery, arguing motions, deposing witnesses, and assisting in trial.Strong technical background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases and work effectively under pressure.Team-oriented mindset committed to professionalism, attention to detail, and client service.Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, electronics engineering, or a related technical field.Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California Bar is strongly preferred.Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is highly desirable.Skills:Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.Strong oral advocacy and presentation abilities.Proficiency in using e-discovery tools and managing complex document discovery.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong business development and client relationship-building skills.Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.One Medical is seeking a Regional Sales Vice President who will be responsible for bringing in business across Southwest region and other key markets with new clients ranging in size from 500 to 10,000 employees.
