B&A is looking for a PeopleSoft Recruiting Consultant to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. Federal Government contractor is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll consultant. The position requires a team player and strong leader who can work effectively with the client's Payroll division. The Functional Consultant should perform professional duties related to the analysis, support and maintenance of the payroll functionality of the HRMIS PeopleSoft application including supporting payroll and year end processing. Focus is on the effective implementation of business processes, usability and accuracy within applications. The position calls for excellent communication skills, effective presentation skills, and strong leadership skills.Responsibilities

Elicit and document requirements and specifications from functional users and subject matter experts.Review, analyze, define and document business functions and processes.Defining alternatives and making recommendations to enhance and/or streamline processes.Translates customer requirements into a best fit within the application, and develops processes and documentation that support the SDLC.Develop and maintain standard systems requirement documents including but not limited to business process workflows, Functional Requirements Documents; Requirement Traceability Matrix, and use cases.Review and comment on proposed functional/capability configuration for each of the product modules.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.Effective communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented environment.Apply HCM knowledge and industry best practices in developing the to-be business processes and procedures.Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or other technically relevant degree.10+ years' experience with a minimum of four years of functional experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x.Required Skills

Versed in the design, implementation, test and deployment of PeopleSoft HCM version 9.x.Possess a high level of attention to detail, be organized, and able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and executives.Experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 functionality, specifically with the HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, North American Payroll and ESS/MSS modules preferred.Functional experience with one or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: HR Core, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, Talent Acquisition, Workflow and Self Service.Must be a team player and be able to adjust to a dynamic working environment for a government agency.Must have strong written, verbal, and listening skills.Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.Desired Skills

Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.ERP implementation experience in large scale projects.Experience working with Agile development teams.Security Clearance
