This role requires a hands-on approach to litigation and client management, ensuring efficient case handling and client satisfaction.Duties:Provide comprehensive legal support to clients.Manage all aspects of cases, from inception through trial and appeal, if necessary.Draft and respond to legal discovery requests.Prepare and argue motions in court.Conduct and defend depositions.Report case progress and updates to clients and insurance carriers.Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, providing timely communication and updates.Collaborate with partners on legal strategies and case management.Requirements:A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil defense litigation and/or labor and employment law.Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing.Strong foundation in civil litigation procedures and court appearances.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Trial experience is a plus.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.Problem-solving skills with a proactive and accountable attitude.Ability to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Skills:Strong legal research, writing, and case management skills.Expertise in discovery, depositions, and courtroom procedures.Ability to maintain an organized workflow and prioritize cases efficiently.Excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.Company info
