As a Quality Control (QC) Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring that products, materials, or components meet specified quality standards and regulations.

High School Diploma or GED10+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment5+ years of experience in quality controlGeneral Requirements
Proficient in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) inspection methods and testingSolid understanding of welding processes and weld symbolsComprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in both fabrication and machiningStrong design knowledge, including techniques, tools, and principles for creating precise technical plans, tolerances, tolerance stack-ups, drawings, and modelsStrong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to train, mentor, and develop team membersPreferred Requirements
Associate's degreeCertification as a Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)3+ years of experience with ASME and AWS codes and standards1+ year of welding experience5+ years of experience in Welding/NDE Inspection3+ years of experience with tight tolerance and geometric dimensional inspectionExperience with CMM; familiarity with Keyence systems is a plusEssential Functions
Apply ASME Code and quality standards, with experience in the Nuclear Industry or other quality-controlled environments like ISO 9001 or AS9100Utilize expertise in manufacturing and fabrication processes, including ASME Code Section VIII and IX, B31.1, B31.3, AWS, and related standardsInterpret and ensure compliance with source documents, including drawings and dimensional requirementsDemonstrate advanced proficiency with CMMs, calipers, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Generate detailed QC reports and data analysis, providing actionable recommendations based on findingsVerify that quality inspection methods and associated tests are completed accurately and thoroughlyPotentially perform NDE activities, such as Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT)
