Job Summary:
The position will work in partnership with Principals/Assistant Principals/Teachers to assist multiple campuses in integrating performing arts (music, dance, drama) arts into the curriculum. The successful candidates will have a minimum of three years of related experience. They must have a passion and experience teaching children (PreK - 12th Grade) as well as working with adults. They also must have experience integrating arts into curriculum and experience working with community based arts organizations.
Job Responsibilities:Provide direct, instructional support, coaching and guidance to teachers integrating the arts within their classrooms and embedded throughout the curriculum(s) and aligns with current classroom standard or learning target.Develop, select, and model lessons that meaningfully integrate the performing arts (music, dance, and drama/theater) as an instructional strategy and incorporate use of arts integration.Provide needed art tools for instruction to students.Collaborate with teachers to develop plans to improve student performance in academic subjects through arts integrations.
Assists teachers in developing accommodations and adaptations to ensure full participation of all students
Assists teachers in creating an arts integrated classroom environment that provide for student involvement in the learning process and enables each students to achieve their learning objectives by coaching and guiding teachers.Provide input regarding the planning of instructional goals, objectives and methods in arts integration.Participates in and delivers arts integration professional development to families and staff members.Leads the creation and implementation of performances (i.e. Share performances, shows, etc.)Assist in coordination of campus-based artist in residents/art related field trips.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Training:
