We are seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist to join our renowned cancer center serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon.
Job Description:Accepting part-time 48 hours per pay period and full-time 80 hours per pay period candidates.BE within 2 years/BC in Medical Oncology and/or HematologyExperience practicing Radiation Oncology with a strong record or an excellent recent graduate is preferred.Demographics for this area are roughly 20 Hematology 80 Oncology.Average Number of Patients Per Day - Clinic/Office: 10-15Outpatient at Free-Standing Cancer Center - BEAUTIFUL FACILITY. No inpatient consults only outpatient clinic visits and collaboration with infusionNew 19 chair infusion roomOnsite mixing pharmacyNurse navigationRadiation Oncology onsite8 hour days1:4 call primarily critical lab callsA full scope of services that include cardiology radiology oncology emergency care surgical care including bariatrics and robotics critical care inpatient psychiatry wound care with hyperbaric medicine primary care pediatrics OB and home healthLeading edge clinical trialsAffiliated with Oregon Health amp Sciences UniversityOHSU Knight Cancer Network MemberHigh caliber collegial outstanding nurse infusion teamWork-Life Balance: Enjoy a fulfilling career in a community that values time outside of work.
