This is NOT a fulltime position.No benefits are available with this position.Grain Elevator - Casual employees have to potential to be considered for full-time employment opportunities based on business need and individual performance.Shift hours:8-hour shift

1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtimePlant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days per weekPay:$24.04 per hour

Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift.

Overtime pays - time worked on Saturday is paid at 1.5 times regular rate of pay.Overtime pays - time worked on Sunday is paid at 2 times (double pay) regular rate of pay.About our Location:The Buffalo, NY plant is located on the waterfront, providing convenient access to Canada and major cities like Toronto and New York City. Support grain elevator by unloading grain when delivery occurs.Perform various sanitation and clean up duties.Be responsible for executing all required HACCP processes and documentation.Attend meetings and trainings as required.

What you have to offer:Minimum of a high school diploma or GEDExperience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.Physical requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when requiredWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
