In 2008, they launched their first consumer product, MyCreditHealth and ScoreSense, along with live Customer Care agents. By 2010, through ongoing testing and development, the company launched ScoreSense to offer consumers a robust experience to understand and interact with their credit profiles. Their team has grown to more than 100 professionals, but still includes several employees who have been there from the beginning. Their vision is simple - they ensure that cutting-edge technology, analytics and a best-in-class customer experience-endures. They are growing and looking for a Sr. Database Manager (Marketing Automation) to lead their database and Business Intelligence (BI) Developers to maintain all company databases. WHO YOU ARE: You will have a strong background in data management and a proven track record in developing and maintaining a central database, such as a Customer Data Platform (CDP) . You will play a critical part in integrating and optimizing data across various business areas including Subscription Billing, Marketing Automation, Contact Center, and Customer Support. Additionally, you will ensure high availability and uptime through effective data governance and reliability management practices. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Manage, mentor, and lead a team of database developers, Business Intelligence (BI) developers. Data Strategy Development : Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy to ensure the effective collection, storage, and use of data across applications and the organization. Central Database Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of the newly selected central database (e.g., CDP) that integrates data from various sources Oversee the integration of disparate data systems and ensure seamless data flow across all business functions. Implement ETL processes and ensure data quality and consistency. Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards. Provide actionable insights to stakeholders through advanced data analytics and reporting. Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices. Implement reliability management practices to ensure high availability and uptime of the data systems. Continuously monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Work closely and effectively with the CTO, business leaders, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support business objectives. Stay up to date with the latest data management technologies and trends. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data capabilities. WHAT YOU NEED: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in data management At least 2 years of leadership experience SQL Server experience PREFERRED: Experience in developing and managing a central database or CDP (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Zoho, etc.). Experience with marketing automation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full-time, Monday - Friday Remote in TX - quarterly travel to Dallas, TX Corporate Office Compensation: $170-$180k Location: Dallas, Texas Direct Reports: under 10 Flexible working hours
