As a global leader, Stanley Black & Decker can bring together the best in science, technology, business and human resources to continue to grow and succeed in our market.Job Overview:To conduct counts, audits, and review inventory discrepancies.Essential Job Functions:Reconciliation of inventory issues that are identified throughout the Distribution Center.Responsible for reviewing inventory discrepancies and errors in a timely manner.Verify physical inventory in various locations by hand or weight counting.Research any discrepancies involved with physical inventory.Consolidate reserve locations to optimize storage and movement within the Distribution CenterPerform a variety of administrative functions associated with the receipt, storage and shipment of goods.This includes verification of quantities, preparation of inventory and maintenance records, and utilization of distribution forms, reports, and referral documents.Conduct routine equipment checks and perform daily maintenance, as required.Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Perform any other duties deemed necessary.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMust be able to use AS400 and JDA Warehouse Management System.Must possess a Mac Tools forklift license to perform this job.Must have good mathematical skills.Strong customer focus, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently.Skilled in problem resolution and providing best practices solutions.Willingness and ability to drive PIVS required.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of tools, brands, and product numbers.Physical Requirements**: *Must be able to always (95% - 100%) lift and maneuver 10 pounds in any range of motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.*Must be able to frequently (65% - 90%) lift and maneuver 25 pounds in any range of motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.*Must be able to often (35% - 60%) lift and maneuver 40 pounds in any range of motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.*Must be able to frequently (65% - 90%) walk and stand for the 8-hour shift.Travel Requirements: On-site critical position.
