For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the United States.About the opportunityDayforce is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to implement a new FedRAMP-compliant system from the ground up. As a member of the cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring Dayforce’s commitment to secure and scalable solutions, helping our public sector clients meet stringent security and compliance standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, compliance, and IT, to drive innovative solutions within our secure, AI-driven HCM platform.What you’ll get to doArchitecture & Design: Assist in the technical architecture, design, and implementation of the FedRAMP-compliant system of a converged computing and storage platform with a focus on secure, scalable solutions that align with Dayforce's broader technology stack.Compliance & Security: Oversee and implement best practices in security design and compliance, ensuring alignment with FedRAMP standards.Technical Leadership: Serve as a mentor to engineering teams, fostering a culture of security-first development and collaboration.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with security, compliance, and IT operations teams to integrate secure, AI-based features that leverage Dayforce’s suite of talent, workforce management, and payroll tools.Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, staying updated on industry best practices and incorporating cutting-edge technology into system design.Skills and experience we valueProven experience in building FedRAMP or similarly regulated systems.Documented experience implementing cloud solution tools to meet FedRAMP controls.Expertise in secure cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices.Experience with vulnerability management solutions in Cloud environments.Results-oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional problem-solving skills, along with the ability to adapt to Dayforce's dynamic and diverse work culture.What would make you really stand outFamiliarity with Dayforce’s core technology areas, including HCM, AI-driven talent management, and workforce analytics, is a plus.Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, including SOC 2, NIST, and HIPAA.Ability to handle ambiguous situations.What’s in it for youDayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
