JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Office Coordinator will be to provide front desk and administrative support. The role will require a combination of communication & interpersonal skills, organizational skills, computer skills, and detail orientation. This individual must be able to handle a wide variety of reception and administrative activities and handle confidential matters with discretion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests and connect them with appropriate individuals.
Log all visitors to the building.
Receive and direct incoming calls and voicemails.
Manage and distribute incoming & outgoing mail and other deliveries; and manage postage meter.
Manage and procure supplies and equipment for the front office.
Assist warehouse with any supply needs.
Arrange for taxis/transportation as needed for guests.
Keep the lobby area & conference rooms tidy and prepared for guests.
Assist site leadership with employee and corporate events.
Be a source of general information for visitors and employees as required.
Other tasks as assigned.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of general office coordination experience.
Proficient in using a variety of computer software applications, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple competing activities.
Proficient in internet search methods.
Ability to maintain discretion where needed.
Excellent written communication skills.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Ability to work independently with little direction.
