Remote work options are available for the right candidate.Duties:Handle complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and asset sales or liquidations.Provide counsel on joint ventures, business succession planning, and corporate legal matters.Draft and negotiate contracts such as employment agreements, leases, and loan modifications.Advise clients on real estate and leasing transactions, including land purchases and lease agreements.Ensure regulatory compliance and advise on intellectual property matters.Oversee the formation and dissolution of various legal entities, including non-profit organizations.Mediate and manage contract disputes and provide litigation support when needed.Requirements:Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in corporate and business law (law firm or in-house experience preferred).Strong knowledge of corporate governance and transactional work.Ability to manage complex business and legal matters independently.Superior verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.Strong client service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.Certifications:Active membership with the California State Bar.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective client management.Experience with real estate, leasing, or intellectual property law is a plus.Familiarity with contract negotiations, joint ventures, and corporate structuring.Company info
