Join our team to help build a better, more sustainable world for future generations!ResponsibilitiesThe Caterpillar Large Electric Power Solutions Division (LEPS) is seeking a Senior Product Consultant for Microgrid Controls. In this role, the successful candidate will perform market analysis, strategy development, product portfolio definition, and detailed product definition for Large Electric Power’s microgrid and advanced power products, with a focus on Microgrid Control products and the integration of these systems at a site level. These solutions will support our customers during and beyond the energy transition as they integrate a wide range of assets to deliver the energy outcomes needed by their organizations. This position will define and support a portfolio of products that meet our customer’s needs, contribute to LEPS’ Energy Transition Strategy, and drive the organization to maximize Caterpillar's value to Electric Power customers and Caterpillar's share of future market OPACC.What you have:Customer Focus:

Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.Technical Excellence:
Knowledge of microgrid controls, gensets, Energy Storage Solutions (ESS), and Advanced Power Products and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.Value Selling:
While this is not a sales position, knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services remains important.Strategic Thinking:
Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.Influencing:
Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.Preferred Location:
