Review and analyze medical records to develop effective case strategiesDraft and file motions, including motions for summary judgmentPrepare and attend court hearings to advocate on behalf of clientsPrepare clients for depositions and attend depositions of fact and expert witnessesCreate comprehensive reports, including initial, interim, pre-trial, and appellate activity reportsRespond to and draft discovery requests, and handle related motionsRegularly attend court appearances to ensure optimal outcomes for clientsParticipate in mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings as requiredRequirements
Experience : 5-10 years in General Liability defense, including auto negligence and premises liabilitySkills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent research, written, and oral communication skillsResponsibilities : Comfortable with attending court appearances, taking and defending depositions, and managing discoveryEducation
Degree : Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications
Bar Admission : Licensed to practice law in the State of FloridaSkills
Proficiency in drafting motions, managing complex discovery, and performing legal researchAbility to analyze and synthesize medical records and other complex case documentationStrong courtroom presence with the capability to advocate confidently and effectively for clientsCollaborative skills to work efficiently within a team-oriented environment
