The firm values teamwork, professional excellence, and a commitment to transforming the legal landscape.DutiesManage a busy caseload of criminal defense matters, including misdemeanors and felonies.Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling legal documents.Represent clients in District and Superior Courts, ensuring the highest level of professionalism.Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys, many of whom are former prosecutors.Participate in jury trials and handle all aspects of trial preparation and litigation.Uphold the firm’s commitment to client care and exceptional legal service.Contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth and reputation for excellence.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience handling criminal cases in Washington State, including significant jury trial experience.Previous experience as a prosecutor or running a private practice is highly desirable.Strong courtroom presence and ability to manage complex cases independently.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Korean is a plus.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association (required).CertificationsValid Washington State Bar License (required).SkillsStrong legal writing and communication abilities.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Exceptional organizational and case management skills.Ability to represent clients in high-stakes criminal matters with professionalism and confidence.Proficiency in multiple languages (especially Spanish or Korean) is advantageous.This role is based in Tacoma, WA, with potential opportunities in the Seattle location.
