Job DescriptionJob SummaryPart of the NA Corporate HSE Team, the intern will focus on collecting and analyzing HSE data; perform day-to-day HSE administrative tasks; assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal processes that support the HSE management system as well as external clients.When you join us you will:Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HSE management system that is aligned to but not limited to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and Certificate of Recognition (COR).Assist in the mitigation and management of HSE risks (e.g., regulatory review, audits, etc.).Assist in the processing, tracking, recording, and reporting of accident and incident data (e.g., total reportable injury rate, lost time injury rate, etc.).Monitor key performance indicators and compile HSE performance reports.Assist in the development and distribution of HSE communication to internal team members.Support the development and execution of HSE training programs as required.Conduct field inspections/job observations; HSE audits and other types of reviews to monitor compliance with HSE requirements and to identify opportunities for improvement.Communicate observations, non-compliance, and risks to stakeholders, and provide and implement corrective and preventative measures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Assist in the tracking and completion of audit findings and other action items/deliverables.Investigate and resolve incidents as required.Conduct root-cause analysis, identify incident causes, and implement corrective and preventative measures.Review and implement modifications to work plans, processes, procedures to reduce recurring incidents and improve HSE performance.Monitor and assess current processes to look for efficiencies and continuously improve the management system.Diversity, Equal Opportunity and Accommodations:IKO Industries Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer.
