We have a great career opportunity with a well-established California law firm that is seeking a mid-level associate to join their recognized Commercial Litigation practice. We are searching for a motivated associate with excellent academic credentials, who works well on a team, and has a minimum of four years of litigation experience. Associates are trusted to handle all aspects of litigation, working collaboratively with attorneys and regularly updating clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
4-7+ years of commercial litigation experience, such as breach of contract, partnership disputes, insurance law, employment disagreements, product liability, and/or business torts and class actions
Experience drafting and arguing motions, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation
Strong writing and case management skills, direct experience handling clients and adversaries, and excellent oral advocacy skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and client communication
Proficient in handling multiple cases and priorities while meeting deadlines efficiently
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
Trial experience is preferred, but not a requirement
