Join a nationally recognized law firm as they seek a skilled Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation to join their dynamic team in their Los Angeles office.
This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with clients and handle complex litigation matters from inception through trial. The ideal candidate will possess strong independent working capabilities, superior communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:Manage cases throughout the litigation process, including drafting and responding to pleadingsConduct comprehensive discovery, including propounding and responding to requestsLead depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and expertsAttend and represent the firm at court hearingsPrepare and argue motions and oppositionsAssist in trial preparation and strategy developmentQualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolActive California bar license3-5 years of relevant experience in civil and commercial litigationProven ability to manage complex litigation matters from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparationStrong legal research and technical writing skills, with familiarity in utilizing legal research toolsExperience in both state and federal court proceedingsExceptional writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.Benefits:
