We are searching for a candidate with confidence and grit who is looking to build a career in professional sports. This position will report to the Director of Premium Sales & Service.Job Responsibilities:Account Management: Responsible for retention of annual suite & premium seat holders in the defined portfolio of accountsDrive Revenue Growth: Seek additional revenue opportunities through outreach to current annual suite & premium seat holders by add-on membership sales, seat upgrades, and referrals from the portfolioProspect New Opportunities: In addition to retention, maximize on a separate annual revenue goal through execution of new business calls and out of office meetingsRelationship Building: Build strong relationships with a defined portfolio of accounts (annual suite and premium seat holders) through proactive communication, including seat/suite visits, phone calls, emails, dinners, events, and other communication channelsFoster a Positive Team Approach: Focus on an exceptional fan experience on match day and work closely with other departments to ensure consistent communication and one-on-one interactions with fansProduct Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge and effectively communicate all team happenings, events, member benefits, and stadium details that are relevant to the defined account portfolioCRM Management: Ensure customer and account data and profile requirements are accurate and completeDeliver Exceptional Service: Acquire knowledge and understanding of products we offer and learn to ask targeted questions to better understand the Chicago Fire FC fan base to offer the best benefits possibleAdditional Duties: Additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:3 years of sales or service experienceProven track record of achieving and surpassing sales goalsPossess a strong understanding of driving new business sales, customer support, relationship management, upselling, and client retentionMust display a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sportsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to run offsite meetings with C-Level executivesWillingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentDesire to be a sports sales industry leaderAbility to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidaysPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration, or a similar fieldExperience with collegiate, elite, or professional sports sales or serviceSpanish language fluencyFamiliarity and knowledge with Ticketmaster Archtics and Salesforce CRMPlease note:Chicago Fire FC is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.
