This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, providing legal support to a wide range of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction law, with a particular focus on contract negotiation and dispute resolution. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your legal expertise in a challenging and rewarding setting, and to play a key role in the success of our construction projects.Responsibilities Provide legal advice and support to our construction teams on a wide range of issues, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of construction contracts, ensuring that they are legally sound and align with our business objectives. Manage and resolve complex construction disputes, including litigating in court, mediating disputes, and negotiating settlements. Keep abreast of changes in construction law and regulations, and provide training and guidance to our construction teams to ensure compliance. Collaborate with other members of our legal team, as well as with our construction teams, to develop and implement strategies that minimize legal risk and maximize business success. Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the state. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction attorney, with a strong focus on contract negotiation and dispute resolution. In-depth knowledge of construction law and regulations. Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex construction disputes. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and resolve disputes effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. Willingness to keep up with the changing landscape of the law, and to continually develop and refine legal skills and knowledge.
