Complete and pass all mandatory on-line trainingProvide timely transport of passengers in Erie CountyEnsure passenger feels secure and respected throughout their journeyMaintain a friendly and compassionate demeanor, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphereFollow all safety protocols when using the wheelchair ramp to assist passengers on and off. Make sure to engage the wheelchair parking brake or turn off the power wheelchair, and ensure that appropriate safety equipment and devices are utilized.Ensure the van is well-maintained by performing daily checksMaintain a precise log of your journeys and mileage using mobile appSubmit monthly travel reportsOther duties as assigned by the supervisor may include assisting the facility manager with maintaining the property inside and outQualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or olderPossess a high school diploma or GEDMust have a valid Pennsylvania driver's licenseMust be able to pass various background checksCPR/FA certifiedExcellent customer service and communication skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMETS:
Drive Agency Van, Operate Van Ramp EquipmentAbility to push and maneuver a person who uses a wheelchair (manual or electric) up and down ramp and curbPhysically able to bend and lift a minimum of 50lbsOperate washing equipment for van
