Sunday-Wednesday 3pm-11pm and Thursdays 9am-5pm

The Program Coordinator (PC) is the lead direct support professional for one residential group home program and will be responsible providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals.
This is not a supervisory role. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director.
Duties & Responsibilities
Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environmentProvide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping.Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.Assist with transportation needs.Implement positive behavior supports.Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.Administrative duties such as assisting with schedules, one-on-one training of staff, documentation and follow-up of individual and program related issues, and ensuring compliance with policies and Oregon Administrative Rules.Other duties as assignedQualifications
1+ years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is
required . Prior experience in residential services preferredMust be at least 18 years oldValid driver's license requiredReliable transportation with ability to use personal vehicle on the jobHave a passion to help othersPeople-oriented and have a team approachDependable, adaptable, flexibleAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsMust be able to provide referencesAble to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training
