LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a leading Professional Services Firm in Fort Worth to hire a Senior Accountant. This position will support the CFO and Accounting Manager in overseeing the organization's finance and accounting operations. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for tasks such as month-end close, monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and internal controls. Additional duties include managing assigned projects, expense analysis, and ensuring policy compliance.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Conduct bank reconciliations.
Analyze general ledger activity and perform account reconciliations.
Propose and prepare standard and adjusting journal entries, both recurring and non-recurring.
Oversee and manage daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare and analyze financial projections.
Review departmental and GL account transaction coding for accuracy.
Document and maintain the companys accounting policies.
Document business processes to enhance internal controls.
Maintain financial records for subsidiary companies.
Provide financial status information by preparing special reports and completing special projects as requested.
Monitor business performance metrics.
Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business evolves.
Required Skills / Abilities / Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
4+ years of accounting experience.
Experience in the Architectrual, Engineering or Construction industry preferred.
Knowledge of Vantage Point is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
Exceptional organizational, follow-up, and attention to detail skills.

$80-90K
