Job Summary:
As a People Operations Generalist at Armada, you will provide essential support to our Head of People across various areas of people operations, helping to attract, retain, and nurture top talent. This role is designed for a versatile people operations professional who will assist with daily operations, strategic initiatives, and employee support across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of people operations best practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. Familiarity with HRMS and the ability to support broader People Operations initiatives is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
: Assist the Head of People in providing guidance to employees on policies, procedures, and programs. Support the resolution of employee concerns and help mediate conflicts as needed.Performance Management
: Help implement performance management systems, including coordinating training sessions and tracking performance review cycles, under the direction of the Head of People.Employee Engagement
: Support the development, coordination, and execution of employee engagement activities and programs that foster a positive work environment, enhance team cohesion, and promote company culture.Compliance
: Assist with maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws. Help manage accurate employee records and support documentation needs.Benefits Administration
: Serve as a resource for employee benefits inquiries, assisting the Head of People with vendor coordination and annual benefits enrollment.Training & Development
: Support the Head of People in identifying training needs and facilitating programs that contribute to employee development and organizational success.People Reporting & Analytics
: Assist in generating and analyzing people metrics, including turnover, headcount, compensation, and engagement data, to support data-driven decision-making.Policy Development & Implementation
: Help in the development and implementation of people policies, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirements, under the guidance of the Head of People.Health & Safety
: Support the safety team as directed to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
: Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires.HRMS Support
: Maintain HRMS data and provide support as needed to facilitate accurate employee information management and efficient People Operations processes.Qualifications:
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.Experience
: 3+ years of experience in a People Operations or HR role, preferably as a generalist or in a similar capacity.Knowledge
: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, recruitment best practices, and performance management.Skills
: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency in HRMS, HRIS, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Attributes
: Highly organized, proactive, and able to handle confidential information with integrity. Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.Plus:

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. Based candidates: To ensure fairness and transparency, the starting base salary range for this role for candidates in the U.S. are listed below, varying based on location experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will also be offered equity and subsidized benefits (details available upon request).
The pay range for this role is:
96,000 - 120,000 USD per year (Headquarters, San Francisco Office)
