Audit Supervisor
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUDIT SUPERVISOR
As an accounting professional at our CPA firm, you play a key role in all aspects of assurance engagements, from planning to completion. You provide technical expertise and guidance to our audit and assurance staff. You manage and develop staff by assisting in recruiting, evaluating performance, training, and career coaching. You manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client and internal deadlines all while monitoring engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies in the audit process.
By directly interacting with clients, you will provide excellent client service by continually building the relationship and goodwill with the client. You collaborate with managers on client issues and make recommendations on resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUDIT SUPERVISORBachelor's degree in accountingCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or professional equivalent a plus4+ years of experience in public accounting with the demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsExcellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including expertise with US GAAP
