Primary Purpose:
This position will provide direct support to the Director, Operational Excellence in identifying, developing, and implementing transformational activities that improve ADUSA Finance business operations. The Analyst IV, Finance Operational Excellence will collaborate across ADUSA Finance, Brand Finance teams and other key ADUSA stakeholders to support the execution of organization's goals, objectives, and strategies. This role will provide direct support in the execution of the long-term Finance Transformation (Strategic) roadmap, at times acting as a lead resource, to achieve the overall strategic objectives. Further, this role will support the strategic planning process for Finance as well as the development and execution of \"Finance for Finance\" work which includes communications, change management, and budgeting and forecasting activities for all of ADUSA Finance. Additionally, this position will work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize and lead/facilitate improvement efforts, implement best practices and support ongoing workforce related activities related to attracting, developing and retaining talent.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Duties and Responsibilities:Supports the development, execution and measurement of the strategic roadmap for ADUSA Finance, to include the refresh of ADUSA Finance's vision, and strategic priorities.Manages key aspects of the strategic planning process; ensuring integration with functional and business timelines and processes.Partner with senior leaders across ADUSA Finance, Brand Finance, IT and other key stakeholder groups on a regular basis to advance key strategic projects that accelerate operational efficiency and technology enablement.Provides direct support for the evolution of the Finance target operating model, ensuring key business partners and senior leadership are kept apprised of status.Partners with Finance leaders to support the annual budgeting and forecasting process for ADUSA Finance.Manage the maturation of the ADUSA Finance's business capability model that is used, in part, to define and measure business value of transformational initiatives.Develop and support change management and communication processes for ADUSA Finance, ensuring communication and training plans are developed, implemented and measured.Leads the governance and cadence of organization level meetings, ensuring timing, flow, content, etc. meet organizational needs and are aligned with expectations of the ADUSA CFO.Support the action planning process related to the associate engagement survey (AES) across all ADUSA Finance areas. This may include leading cross-functional teams on actions and/or initiatives to improve overall engagementManage and administer the training and education program for ADUSA Finance, ensuring gaps in key competencies are monitored and acted upon on. Works very closely with ADUSA learning team in developing the strategic training roadmap for ADUSA Finance.Provides primary support for key ADUSA Finance leadership meetings and workshops (i.e., Steering Committees, leadership off-sites, Director+ meetings, town halls, strategic planning workshops, etc.).Monitor and report on the progress of strategies, plans, and initiatives.Research industry best practices in finance and operational excellence, and recommend adoption where relevantParticipate in external benchmarking exercises to identify areas where the Finance organization can improve relative to peersManage, lead and facilitate multi-disciplined continuous improvement projects that support ADUSA Finance strategic direction.Maintain positive working relationships with peers, leadership, and team members when interacting on difficult systematic problems.Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.Qualifications:
6-8 years of previous business consulting / industry or related experienceExtensive functional and project experience, is a recognized expert in a functional area and possesses organizational and operational expertiseExperience working in a global multi-vendor / shared services environmentBusiness process outsourcing experience a plusPrior experience with business analyticsAdvanced Excel SkillsPrior experience in relevant Finance functions - i.e., AP, AR, Accounting, etc.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present findings to leadershipStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable insightsGreenbelt Certification (preferred)High Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvementPreferred Qualifications:
Finance, accounting, business management, management consulting or related field preferredMBA strongly preferred
