We are looking for a results-driven, high-performing and confident

Senior Accountant

to join our Accounting team. You will be expected to work in a fast paced environment to deliver on accounting, reporting & analytical fronts. In addition to day-to-day accounting & reporting, the Senior will collaborate with the team, bring in relevant technical accounting expertise, assist in formulating sound financial strategies, implement appropriate internal controls, implement industry best practices, and develop financial plans that support organizational strategy.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Accountant, you would be required to prepare key deliverables involved in day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting primarily in US GAAP (IndAS or IFRS experience is a plus)Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; consolidation of various entities to deliver the Group's resultsBring a base of knowledge around technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, derivatives, consolidation, stock options, business combinations, MTM accounting, and other accounting mattersOversee entity's jurisdiction-specific reporting, accounting, tax & compliancesDesigning and implementing processes, policies & procedures, internal control framework, etc.Coordination with external auditors and other relevant teams in/out of the organizationHands-on knowledge of working/operating in an environment with an ERP (like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)Success

As a Senior Accountant, you will help the team refine and streamline finance & accounting processes and ensure real-time & accurate financial information to all the stakeholdersBring in requisite US GAAP expertise and guide the group through emerging guidance, restructuring, and product launchesDevelop legal entities and regulatory, statutory, management & tax deliverables, filingsYou will be required to work very closely with Trading, Trade-Ops Teams & external consultants to ensure best financial outcomes for the organizationOver the course of time, build SME knowledge (from accounting, reporting, regulatory perspectives) of the environment the firm is operating inAbility to multitask, work effectively under pressure, prioritize, and manage workload to meet internal needsWork closely with the global accounting team, including our team based in India, to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reportingRequired Qualifications

Active Certified Public AccountantBig 4 accounting firm, digital asset or financial services industry experience preferredPrior working experience of 3+ years in a similar industry (Trading, Banking, Broker-Dealer etc.)Some experience managing accounting staff and responsibility for their delivery and performanceIn addition to supporting the regular accounting functions (book-keeping, payables, receivables, reporting, payroll etc.), has technical accounting experienceExpert knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards and its application; IndAS or IFRS experience is a plusHands-on knowledge of working /operating in an environment with an ERP (like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)Understanding of E2E trade flow & related dynamics (settlement, market-making etc.)Enthusiastic, self-starter, and detail-oriented with excellent analytical & problem-solving capabilities and with strong verbal and written communication skills

Base pay for this role is expected to be between $99,000 and $157,500 USD. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as skillset, experience, and qualifications.
