Job Description
The Senior Director, Business Development, Biologics will:
Identify and engage potential clients for biologics services through strategic research and collaboration with the Business Development Team.Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure efficient order delivery.Foster professional relationships with clients, focusing on generating new leads and opportunities.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client dynamics to formulate effective strategies.Collaborate with scientific managers to create proposals that align with client needs.Ensure compliance with commercial processes by reviewing relevant documentation.Contribute skills and insights to special projects within the Business Development team.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The Senior Director, Business Development, Biologics will have:
Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field; PhD is strongly preferred.7+ years of post-qualification experience in a scientific laboratory environment within the industry.Proven track record in Business Development roles, specifically within the CDMO and biologics sectors.In-depth knowledge of the CDMO and biologics market dynamics.Experience in Process Development and commercial manufacturing for biologics.Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and relationship management abilities.Ability to navigate complex situations with organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset.What's on Offer
