This position exits to partner with Inside Sales Representatives and Outside Sales Territory Managers and will support the Sales Team by coordinating, processing, and finalizing customer quotes, bids, and orders. They display a positive attitude with a strong desire to perform as a team player with all areas within the company, as well as with customers. Their primary function is to support the International Division towards achieving divisional targets and goals. Consistency and attention to detail are key characteristics in this position.
What you will do:
1. Assist the sales reps and territory sales manager by working directly with customers by completing pre order activities, order entry, and post order entry customer support.
2. Prepare quotes, bids, and submittals.
3. Process sample requests for customers.
4. Responsible for all orders entry activities including: reviewing/clarifying Purchase Orders, entering the order, and processing order changes.
5. Receives and initiates customer calls regarding: order status, order clarification, expected ship dates, shipping information, expediting, and partial shipments per customer request.
6. Coordinates activities and project information with entire International sales staff, including remote locations.
7. Provides back-up support in sales rep absence.
8. Creates, monitors, and completes all letters of credit, if needed
Required
Education and Experience:
¨ College Degree or five years of experience in international customer service.
¨ Bi-Lingual: English/Spanish or English/French is desired
¨ At least 3-5 years of experience in customer service. International experience or exposure is highly preferred.
¨ Strong oral and written communication skills.
¨ Use/knowledge of customer service software required. Salesforce and Netsuite software experience preferred.
