Job Description for Order PickersAccurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.Accurately identify units of measure.Identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.Prepare orders for transport to customers.Lift and handle totes approximately weighing 50lbs onto a conveyor system leading to shipping areasTake direction from Supervisor for additional assignments or schedule changesPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoopHigh School diploma or GED preferredCommitment to high standards of safety and compliance to all safety policies and practices.Excellent attendance recordAbility to work overtime when neededGood comprehension skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of managementAttention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skillsExcellent organizational skills in maintaining accurate recordsDemonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlinesMust be a team player with a can do attitudeExperience operating power equipment a plusAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to meet all physical assessment requirements for the positionEmployee Benefits:
