Job Summary
Position: Senior Enterprise Project Manager
Contract Type: Remote
Work Hours: 8:30 AM to 5 PM EST; overtime allowed with prior approval
Duration: One-year contract
Pay range: $50 to $75/hr
Key Responsibilities
Establish a consultative partnership with business owners to define, plan, and execute deliverables throughout the project life cycle, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria.
Lead high-complexity projects and potentially multiple concurrent projects in line with industry best practices.
Manage projects with enterprise-level impacts, involving multiple vendors, delivery partners, and business areas, such as:
Launches of new products/services
Large-scale application development
Migration to new business applications
Outsourcing of capabilities
Infrastructure upgrades
Coordinate matrixed project teams from various departments and manage vendor resources as needed.
Utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, following BCBS standards.
Engage delivery partners from IT, architecture, analytics, and enterprise security for software development projects.
Ensure all deliverables are produced and approved on schedule, including requirements documents, design documents, and test plans.
Identify and manage project risks and dependencies; escalate issues and provide mitigation strategies across the project portfolio.
Develop, refine, and monitor project budgets, managing them within approved financial allocations.
Manage change requests for scope, schedule, and budget adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive project deliverables and ensure contract compliance through vendor contracting processes.
Oversee the execution of contracted work to guarantee timely receipt of deliverables and funds.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years in project management, preferably with a strong track record of managing high-complexity projects.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and escalation management skills; ability to work with diverse business partners.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in scheduling and project escalation management.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
Healthcare experience is a plus.
Project Management Methodologies: Agile and Waterfall experience is required.
