Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager with experience in Health Plan management to lead high-complexity projects with potential enterprise-level impact. This role requires managing multiple projects concurrently, coordinating across multiple vendors and business areas, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. The Senior Technical Project Manager will oversee project deliverables, manage risks and dependencies, monitor budgets, and work with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead high-complexity projects within the Health Plan domain, potentially managing multiple projects concurrently.

• Oversee projects with enterprise-level impacts, involving multiple vendors, delivery partners, and business areas.

• Coordinate project teams, including matrixed resources and vendor resources across the company.

• Utilize both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods in alignment with client methodologies.

• Engage with information technology, architecture, analytics, and enterprise security teams for software development projects.

• Ensure deliverables from business and technology partners are produced and approved according to project schedules.

• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, ensuring awareness across the project portfolio.

• Develop, refine, and monitor project budgets, managing resources to align with financial processes.

• Proactively manage change requests for project scope, schedule, and budget changes throughout the project life cycle.

• Work with project teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure contract compliance for vendor deliverables.

• Monitor and represent project status effectively, driving project deliverables and compliance through vendor contracting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree; 5+ years of experience in a related field.

• In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in a related field.

• Proven experience in Health Plan projects.

• Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong risk management, budgeting, and change management skills.

• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.
