Nurse to Patient Ratios – 6:1 for days, with the goal being for the charge nurse to be out of staffing to assist.Day Shift – 1 charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTs, 1 unit secretaryNight Shift – 1 charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 1 LPN, 1-2 PCTsUnit Specific Information
Unit: A7 West Med Surg teleNumber of Beds – 18Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, Wound vacs, SCDS, prima-fits, and primo-fitsEMR – Cerner PowerchartProcedures performed include Peripheral IV starts and Dressing changesBest personality fit described as a team player with positive attitude and a propensity to help others without being asked
