Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler with strong attention to detail and the ability to work on their feet for the entirety of the day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with others and willing to be cross-trained in various areas.

Responsibilities

Receiving and documenting received items

Performing factory resets by manually pressing a button

Conducting automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine repairs

Performing Wi-Fi tests

Conducting elevated temperature tests

Executing cosmetic cleaning

Performing cosmetic repairs

Conducting In Process Quality Control (IPQC)

Kitting

Packing out and building pallets for shipment in kits

Shipping

Scanning parts at every step of the process

Essential Skills

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable being on their feet for the entirety of the day

Ability to work with others

Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Hand dexterity

Punctuality

Experience with assembly, packing, retail, repair, refurbishing, stock, quality inspection, soldering, test equipment, RF scanner, computer use, blueprint reading, and power tools

General labor experience

Work Environment

This position is based in a brand new facility equipped with a locker area and a cafeteria with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located near gas stations and restaurants, just half a mile north of 90 and half a mile south of 72, right off Randall Road.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
