Job Description: Pay Range: $35.50hr $39.50hr Essential Duties: Service, Repair, Maintain, Monitor and Adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters. Performs a variety of service work, general maintenance, and custodial activities. This may include carpentry, painting, plumbing, minor grounds keeping, along with facility repairs to building systems, electrical fixtures, appliances, and equipment. Provides direction and training to less experienced O&M Specialists. Plans, selects, and lays out required materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance work. Works from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations. Requisitions new supplies and equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Is required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility. Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards. Perform other duties as required. Requirements: Completion of a two-year technical degree, licensed plumber, electrician or HVAC experience. 5 years' experience in a Facility Maintenance environment. bility to maintain all HVAC systems (AHU's, Chillers, DX sys, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, etc). Working and operating knowledge of Metasys (Client). Working understanding of UPS and Generator systems. Proven Electrical system working knowledge a PLUS. Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs requests. Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes. Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. Required to use a variety of hand and power tools or Candidate lift. May be required to possess a valid driver's license. Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment. Must be able to pass a thorough background check and subject interview.
