Randstad is working with a nonprofit to fill a position supporting their purchasing/procurement function. This role will involve starting on a temporary basis but has the potential to go temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Ideally this person will bring a wide breadth of experience in purchasing and procurement within the nonprofit space, and have excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail. Contract review may also be involved. This role has the opportunity for hybrid work, involving multiple days per week onsite in Cambridge, MA with an option for 2 days remote. Qualifications: -3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and vendor relations -Experience in the nonprofit sector
salary: $28 - $32 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
-Procurement: Manage sourcing, ordering, and tracking supplies and services in line with organizational needs and budget.
-Vendor Management: Build relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues with deliveries or invoicing.
-Budget & Reporting: Assist with budget tracking, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain accurate procurement records.
-Collaboration: Work with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of resources.
-Compliance: Ensure procurement practices follow nonprofit guidelines and regulations.
