Lead our Team as the Hotel General ManagerNewly renovated Hyatt Place Columbia / Harbison SC is seeking a General Manager that is directly responsible for the success of the housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and sales departments of the property. A hands-on approach is necessary to effectively manage the quality of customer service and guest suite cleanliness. The General Manager will also be involved in the interviewing and hiring of new associates, as well as disciplinary measures.Job Requirements2-3 years previous management experience as an exceptionally strong General Manager.Exceptional skills in front office management.Exceptional leadership and team building skills.Ability to develop people.Must be results driven.Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and planning.Strong skills in guest service training.Ability to confront issues/problems and deal and resolve them timely.Ability to motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best ability.Ability to prioritize, organize and work under time constraints with sense of urgency.Ability to handle guest issues with tact, patience and diplomacy.This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer. The employer of individuals working at this hotel may be a third-party management company that is responsible for all employment benefits and obligations at this location.
