Director, Sales
to join our team. The Director, North American Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry, is the lead Sales position for the License Sales and SaaS business. Reporting directly to the Vice President Sales, this position will be directly responsible for an organization of Account Executives. The Director will be responsible for direct business development for Hexagon’s North American Engineering, Procurement and Construction Business. The Director shall work to identify and qualify net new sales opportunities and execute an intelligent pursuit plan to sell the Hexagon ALI portfolio while maintaining successful relationships with internal support organizations. He or she will build and maintain positive executive customer relationships with key customers. A solution background is expected as you position digital transformation problem-solving in complex enterprise accounts.The Director will be responsible for setting the objectives and leading the process and team to provide the EPC vertical segment of the North American Sales organization with financial information, budgets and outlooks. The role will be viewed as a thought leader for setting priorities and understanding which analyses and interpretation of results will help manage the business on both a regular reporting and ad hoc basis. The successful candidate will generate a regional 5x pipeline and achieve consistent quarterly region quota achievement. Specific objectives include:Meeting or exceeding sales achievement targetsPartnering with internal Hexagon teams to measure, analyze and accelerate top-line and bottom-line performance.Establishing and maintaining a business plan for the EPC segment and managing priorities throughout each year to make the appropriate trade-offs from an investment standpoint.Participating in industry forums, trade associations, and analyst events to enhance Hexagon’s reputation as a thought leader and leading solution provider.Establishing relationships with business partners to increase market awareness and penetration of key accounts.Building and leading a strong sales team who are integrally involved with the business’s day-to-day plans and operations.Keeping regular cadence with each member of the sales team to review pipeline, account plans, opportunity plans, and key performance indicators.Challenging status quo and working closely with peer leaders to improve cross-departmental processes and execution.Exercising business instincts to judge financial projections.Measuring and managing the broader risks associated with the industry segment.Exhibiting a strong executive presence and communication skills to work with senior management team and with internal support organizations.Education / Qualifications
Minimum of ten years of sales and/or management experience in the Engineering, procurement and Construction industry.A proven track record of process improvement and leading growth initiatives with creative and innovative models.Experience driving profitability.Strong writing and oral communications skills.Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships.Ideally has experience working in a highly matrixed environment.Demonstrated financial acumen and leadership managing through periods of change and market challenges, expertise in business transformation.Successful track of record in leading, developing, and retaining a high-performance distributed workforce.Demonstrated critical thinking skills along with strong decision-making skills.Preferred Qualifications
