Overview
Touro College invites applications for a full-time 12-month faculty position in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at our Manhattan Campus. Join our collaborative, supportive faculty in preparing the DPTs of the future. Our gorgeous state of the art Times Square campus provides the ideal environment for teaching service and scholarly pursuits.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position include teaching, scholarship, professional service, student advisement, and participation in departmental and college wide committees. We are seeking candidates with expertise in the area of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
Academic Doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., D.Sc.,) in Physical Therapy or related area, preferred.
Doctoral candidates who are ABD status will also be considered.
Highly desirable qualifications include previous teaching experience in higher education, five years of clinical experience, ABPTS certification, and a record of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
Applicants who are physical therapists must be licensed or eligible for physical therapy licensure in New York.
Maximum Salary
USD $102,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $81,600.00/Yr.
