Automation QA - Testing Salesforce

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Automation QA - Testing Salesforce professional with a minimum of 8 years in software QA and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce's data model and expertise in automation testing within Salesforce. This role involves leading QA initiatives, optimizing automated tests, and working within an Agile environment to ensure high-quality releases. Strong Java programming skills and experience with Selenium or other testing tools are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities •Optimize and maintain Salesforce platform automated tests. •Lead QA initiatives, coordinating with offshore resources and contributing to hands-on testing efforts. •Establish QA metrics, apply industry best practices, and utilize tools to ensure quality goals. •Act as the primary QA contact for releases, providing QA services and coordinating resources. •Review business and non-business requirements. •Develop, execute, and automate test procedures, plans, cases, and scripts. •Build automated regression test scripts using a Selenium-based framework. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop schedules, execute test plans, and ensure quality products. •Track testing risks and create mitigation action plans. •Create and execute detailed test scripts to verify software functionality and performance.Required Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience. •Minimum of 8 years of QA experience, including automation and backend testing. •Strong Salesforce platform testing experience, with knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce data models. •Proficiency in Java programming, especially in collections, interfaces, classes, and multithreading. •Expertise in designing and implementing automation tests using Selenium and Java. •Experience with REST API testing and automation. •Proficient with QA tools such as ALM, Jira, and methodologies for manual and automated testing. •Strong understanding of SQA methodologies and tools.Preferred Qualifications •Familiarity with Financial Services Cloud and Marketing Cloud. •Experience with additional automation tools like Cypress, Protractor, and Playwright. •Experience in Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development. •Experience with Chrome Dev tools, UNIX command, Shell scripting, Eclipse, and HTTP/HTTPS. •Experience leading QA teams, including offshore resources.Education: Bachelors Degree
