Learning Objectives of the Internship Program:
Apply knowledge and skills of HR concepts and policies
Develop a working knowledge of HR disciplines including General HR, HR initiatives, Benefits and Talent Acquisition
Develop a thorough understanding of how an HR function supports business goals
Understand the foundations of a successful career in Human Resources!
Potential exposure to other areas of HR
What Your Day to Day Looks Like:
Drive HR initiatives and continuous improvement through various intern projects
Assist with various aspects of HR and work with managers on the following: employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, career development and talent acquisition
Assist in creating tools and employee resources
Help gather, analyze, and interpret employee data (e.g., turnover rates, engagement survey results) to inform HR strategies and decisions.
Assist team with candidate workflow, onboarding and exit processes
Collaborate and provide administrative assistance to HR team on Ad Hoc related projects
Opportunity to gain exposure to various HR specialties such as Benefits, Recruiting, HRIS
Basic Qualifications/ Education:
Studying towards a general degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a part of a team, build relationships, solve problems and communicate effectively
Looking for a self-starter that takes initiative
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
