Commercial Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate Attorney with a robust background in commercial finance to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in representing lenders and borrowers across various financing transactions.Duties:Represent bank and non-bank lenders and/or borrowers in acquisition financing, working capital facilities, asset-based lending, and other financing types.Draft, review, and negotiate commercial finance documents and agreements.Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on complex commercial finance matters.Advise clients on legal risks and transaction structuring.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute legal strategies.Stay updated with current developments in commercial finance law.Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of meaningful commercial finance experience.Proven experience in representing clients in various financing transactions.Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.Excellent academic credentials.Admission to and in good standing with or willingness to be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or willingness to obtain).Skills:Proficiency in commercial finance law.Strong negotiation and drafting skills.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Effective client communication and interpersonal skills.
