The

US Marketing Director, Public Sector

is responsible for defining the marketing and communications strategy for state, local, and education (public sector) to measurably increase revenue contribution. This will be achieved through creating a marketing and communications plan aligned with business and commercial objectives.

This strategic role will boost awareness and preference for Schneider solutions among key decision-makers, partners, and influencers in the Public Sector. The ideal candidate will use marketing campaigns, go-to-market playbooks, communication strategies, and collaborative sales and marketing plans to meet marketing goals.

This individual will have mastered the art of translating customer insights and competitive feedback into action. They will have designed and managed successful demand-generation campaigns and possess a deep understanding of how to transform customer needs into meaningful engagements. In this role, you'll be responsible for strategic customer marketing, retention, and influence programs aimed at driving adoption, loyalty, advocacy, and growth.

What do you get to do in this position?Creates a segment marketing strategy to support the strategic annual growth plan and update quarterly to enable market saturation, customer experiences, marcom investments, reflect customer evolving needs.Develops Unique Value Proposition and positioning in prioritized end-markets to grow and maintain customer relationships, promote brand awareness, and increase a revenuePartners with Channel and Segment teams, local market intelligence, and government relations to define marketing programs that drive expansion, loyalty, and new acquisition with Public Sector customers.Develops public affairs communications strategy, including external and internal, to drive engagement and preference for Schneider ElectricManage Voice of Customer programs that define buying behaviors, market trends, customer pain points, gaps etc.)Owns and manages the marketing promotional budgetEnsures optimized integrated marketing mix to align with commercial market segmentsDefines, monitors, and manages key performance indicators and dashboards.Marketing Scope(Brand Management) Oversee the Schneider and its associated brands positioning, messaging, and identity to target audiences. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications.(Lead Generation) Develop and execute lead generation initiatives, including but not limited to content marketing, webinars, events, and partnerships. Drive the creation of high-quality content tailored to the industrial audience.(Digital Marketing) Manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.(Communications) Develop PR, AR, Influencer and Executive communications plans.(Sales Enablement) Work in partnership with the sales teams with the necessary tools, materials, and resources to effectively communicate value proposition to customers(Stakeholder Engagement) Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams, and product development, to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.(Management) Collaborates and influences several marketing teams and drive investments to achieve a high performance and high engagement cultureWhat qualifications will make you successful for this role?Bachelor's degree, preferred in business, marketing or communicationsMinimum 10 years B2B product vertical marketing, sales, and/or strategy experienceStrong knowledge of current market trends in public sector, utilities, IT and Data Center marketsProven track record of developing innovative and disruptive programsHigh degree of initiative and pro-active managementStrong written and verbal communicationsAbility to travel domestically 50%Self-motivated, positive, proactive and takes the initiative to get things done.Track record of partnership with cross-functional teams, including work with account/customer management teams and experience in working with global teams and stakeholders.Highly collaborative team player with a desire to work with others for broader successFlexible, demonstrates the ability to adapt to new environments and operate successfully in rapidly changing environmentsLet us learn about you!
