or watch an overview video atDiesel MechanicTransdev is proud to offer:$40-55/hour depending on experienceExcellent benefits package including medical, vision, and dental coverage, and 401(k) savings planPaid holidays, vacation, & sick timeCompany-paid ASE testing and training materialsConsistent full-time, year-round work.Career advancement opportunitiesResponsibilities:Knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair commercial vehicles and equipment.Effectively work and communicate with employees and customers.Complete daily safety inspections and reworks while maintaining production standards.Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs.Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.Other duties as requiredRequirements:21 years or older2+ years of diesel or CNG repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.Valid Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements or eligible to obtain (Paid training offered)ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, and testing)Mechanic’s tool setExcellent communication skillsAbility to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
