Florham New Jersey 07932Onsite Requirements:A/V experience (set up, troubleshooting, sound board operation)MS Teams/MS Office experienceBasic IT and networking knowledgeJob Description:The primary responsibility of this position is to provide end user support for audio/visual requests such as events production, AV projects and webcasting support.It requires a unique balance of providing guidance on A/V technologies while taking direction on daily scheduled activities.Organizational Relationships:This position reports directly to the AV Team Leader of GDA/KI.Daily operations, projects, and tasks are driven by BASF IT staff and management.Job Responsibilities:Setup and support webcasting on-site, virtual, and remote.Setup and support Microsoft Teams Room video conferencing technologySupport AV projects and attend project and weekly AV team meetings.Adhere to all BASF safety and security requirements for contractor personnel working onsiteEscalate housekeeping and technical issues outside of AV and conferencing technology and applications to appropriate departmentMaintain understanding of current and new audio-visual technologyExperience with the operations of integrated control systems manufactured by Crestron, Extron, and AMX.Working Experience with major audio/visual components such as sound board operation operationsMay require travel between BASF sites in New Jersey and Westchester County, NY.May require up to 15% U.S. domestic travel to BASF sites located outside of New JerseyRequired Skills and Additional Qualification:Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-media technologies service industry.BA or BS preferred, but not requiredHighly dedicated, organized, and motivatedAbility to work well with minimal supervisionAbility to coordinate multiple complex activitiesHigh levels of professionalism and integrityHigh levels of interpersonal skills geared towards communication (verbal and written) with all levels within BASFExcellent time management skills with the ability to work well within tight deadlinesShared commitment to see AV services adopted and grow within BASFBasic IT and networking knowledgeMay require occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OSExperience with Microsoft Teams RoomExperience with the operations of basic audio/visual equipment such as flat panel TVs, projectors etc.Experience with standard broadcasting event technologyExperience of configuring PCs to project content.Experience with event set-up and preparation including microphones, amplifiers, audio mixers etc.Occasional after hours and weekend scheduled supportAll other duties as assigned** 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership in this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States, directly for an employer, without sponsorship now or anytime in the future. **
